STRAND-Asia Sponsors Hands-on SPSS Training in USC

The Strategic Research and Development Center, Inc. (STRAND-Asia) in coordination with University of San Carlos (USC) sponsored the Survey Analysis Training held at the Computer Laboratory of the USC in Cebu City last August 26. This training event was held as one of the activities for the faculty as USC celebrated its week-long anniversary.

The topics include the most commonly used statistical analyses in surveys and various researches. Mr. Ryan Aga discussed the different statistical techniques when dealing with both quantitative and qualitative variables while Ms. Jewel Brosas tackled some approaches when handling scale variables.

About 35 participants experienced to apply the statistical analyses in survey data with the use of IBM-SPSS software. Moreover, the participants were given series of activities and exercises to easily implement what they learned.
